A Community, Not a Resort

Halelani Village at Puhi is a fee-simple condominium community of 292 homes across 28 two-story buildings on roughly 14.75 acres in Lihue, Kauai. Built in phases from 1993 to 1995 by Schuler Homes, the village was designed for everyday living — not vacation traffic.

Many homes look out toward the Haupu Mountain range. Kauai Community College sits next door; Wilcox Memorial Hospital is about a five-minute drive, beaches are 5–10 minutes away, and Lihue Airport is close for island travel. The setting is urban-hub adjacent, yet deliberately serene.

Rentals are long-term only — short-term and vacation rentals are not permitted — which helps keep Halelani a true neighborhood. Amenities stay minimal on purpose: quiet streets, assigned parking, and a residential pace. Pets are allowed with association restrictions; ground-floor units with fenced yards are especially well suited for dogs.
